Marie-Pier Allard
With a background as rich as her voice, pianist and vocalist Marie-Pier Allard brings over a decade of experience to the stage. A graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, she has performed across Québec as a solo pianist, singer-songwriter, and chorister, sharing the stage with artists including Lionel Richie, Styx, The Beach Boys, and Marie-Mai. Her versatility has made her a frequent guest on Québec television, and she has appeared in major productions such as Le Cirque du Soleil: Le Grand Concert and Plamondon, as well as in festivals including Festival d'été de Québec and Festivoix.
As a solo artist, Marie-Pier’s emotive performances blend classical training with a contemporary sensibility. Her original work earned her the LOJIQ-FIMU prize at Cégeps en Spectacle, leading to performances in France and a solo debut at Place-des-Arts.
Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy
Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy is a renowned cellist and composer celebrated for both his virtuosity and originality. Winner of prestigious awards including the Prix d’Europe, Dominique has performed as a soloist with major orchestras across Québec and continues to shape the contemporary classical landscape with his compositions. His 2023 album Aux deux hémisphères showcases his dual talents as both composer and performer.
A passionate chamber musician, Dominique is a member of Trio Hochelaga and the Vox Populi Quartet and has contributed to nine chamber music albums to date. His musical collaborations span a wide range of ensembles and duos, reflecting a deep commitment to artistic exploration and expression.
Together, Dominique and Marie-Pier present a stirring live performance that highlights their shared sensitivity, technical finesse, and passion for musical storytelling.
